Koh Chang National Park occupies the total area of the archipealgo. The area comprises 47 islands the most important of which is Koh Chang.
Other islands rich with scenic beauty are Koh Klum, Koh Ngam, Koh Lao Ya, Koh Rung, etc.
In Thailand, Koh Chang is the second biggest to Phuket. The island occupies 429 sq. meters. Koh Chang is plenty of high mountains and cliffs. The highest mountain is Salak Petch Peak (744 meters), the second and the third are Chomprasat and Khao Hom respectively. As abundant with virgin forest which has water sources, Koh Chang has many waterfalls.

Most visitors come to Amphoe Laem Ngob where there are 3 piers namely Laem Ngob and Koh Chang Centre Point, offering daily boat services to islands such as Koh Mak, Koh Wai, and Koh Kham.
